Ryan has officially graduated from Cub Scouts. He earned his Arrow of Light and Webelos badge and is now off to bigger and better things . . . Boy Scouts. Which means I won't have a boy in cubs until 5 more years. And I'm not gonna lie--that thought made me a little teary-eyed. It's been a big part of our lives these past 4 years and we'll miss it but before I could get too many tears out I luckily remembered I'm the one over cub scouts in our primary and won't really get a chance to miss it. Ryan loved (understatement) cubs and hopefully this enthusiasm will continue into Boy Scouts.
Now take a few seconds to see what pack meetings are all about--the cheers and applause. I can't help but laugh at the round of applause given by the scout master for Ryan's Arrow of Light achievement. And I love Ryan's little bounce as he crosses over the bridge from Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.

I just got put in charge of Cub Scouts in primary too--went to my first pack meeting ever a couple of weeks ago and it was totally wild! I have a lot to learn.
Way to go Ryan for getting your Arrow of Light and the Webelos badge!
Wow, that's all I can say really.
