Day 11 {Shopping with Hadley}

Gavin took Hadley shopping.  She'd been asking all day and was excited to take her 20 dollars to spend on her brothers and sisters for Christmas.  It was finally time to go and before she left with Gavin, she came up to me and asked me for 20 dollars.  Apparently I put 20 dollars into the family bank (a computer program we haven't used for a few years) for her a years ago and she needed it to go shopping.  Not sure what she was talking about but either way I gave her the 20 dollars and she was out the door.  They went to Target and she got all of her Christmas shopping done in 15 minutes (if only it was that easy for all of us!).  She was so excited when she got home.  She went right upstairs and spent almost an hour wrapping all of the presents and making gift tags for each one.  She is such a thoughtful girl!  Always wanting to give to her brothers and sisters.  We're so lucky to have her in our family!

Don't you just love how she wants to give and is finding how good it makes her feel to be the one giving? Yes, our Hadley is growing up very nicely.
