Beginning the journey of Down syndrome

I love following blogs of families touched by Down syndrome. And every once in a while I find a blog where I am amazed at the ability and gift the writer has with capturing in words and pictures the feelings, emotions and thoughts I had when Morgan was born. I stumbled across one of those blogs today. I wanted to share the link because I think it's worth checking out. Especially for all of us in this same journey. enjoying the small things. Be sure to scroll down to Nella's birth story!

I loved this and so of course had to share on my blog as well :) She was so lucky to have such great support from friends, family and her doctor.

Thanks for the well wishes for our new baby! I am so nervous and calm at the same time. 4 seems like a lot of kids, it is great to see you do it so well with 6!

Hi! This is one of Kelle's (enjoying the small things blog) friends. She is AMAZING! The journey their family has embarked on is a road less traveled, but it is a BEAUTIFUL, amazing, remarkable, love-filled journey and it has only just begun! Thank you for sharing her story.

Okay - I too am coming from the beautiful Nella blog! I have a 3 year old son with DS and so enjoy connecting with other moms that truly understand this special, unique journey. Your daughter is beautiful, as are all her brothers & sisters - you simply have an adorable family! Feel free to check out our blog as well (since I shamelessly tracked you down here!)

Just wanted to say hi!

I had a little girl 8 days ago diagnosed with Trisomy 21. She is already the light of our family! I was told about "enjoying the small things" a few days ago and I agree, the way she writes is amazing! I wish I had the ability to express how I feel in words like that! Anyhow... I look forward to keeping up with your blog and meeting more mom's like me :)
