All American Girl

I finally got Morgan to say the Pledge of Allegiance on film. Hopefully you are able to understand some of the words. :) And today she decided to put her hand over her 'other heart' ! :)

YAY! Her little voice is just so sweet. Good job to Mom too, getting them to perform on demand is 90% of the battle.

Morgan said the Pledge for me today and was awesome! What is amazing to me is that she learned it last year in school and has gone all summer without hearing it. Now that she was reminded of school, she recited it immediately. Very smart Morgan and happy 6th birthday!
We love you.

So I just spent half the night catching up on your blog! It also didn't help that I went to Karol Jean's and Heidi's. I can't believe Blake is 30!! Holy Crap. Course the twins (Nat and Pres) truned 30 in Feb this year so that makes sense. Great to see your mom and dad as well. It's been forever since I've seen anyone. Great we reconnected. (Even if the Curtis last name crews you up...)Your fam is georgeous and they look exactly like you guys!

That was great. I could understand most of it, towards the end she sort of sounded like she was speaking French :)

She's adorable; she has the sweetest smile.

Chris--well we definitely don't want to hold Morgan back so I'm glad you were able to appreciate her French accent after all the time she has put into French classes. :) Actually the first time she did it I had no idea what she was doing. (She just said it all on her own without me every trying to teach it to her.) But then when she got to the end and yelled --"for all!" I asked her, "Did you just say the pledge of allegiance?" And she smiled and said, "Yes!"
