Blessing Day

Mia's Blessing Day was great! It was a bittersweet celebration for me -- happiness with knowing this was my last baby blessing I would need to plan, but also a little sadness with the reality that Mia is my last one. She is growing and changing so quickly (just like all little babies do!) and I just want to keep her little for awhile longer!

We had a fun get together after the blessing with our family and friends. It was a little chaotic in the kitchen but I think it went well. A big THANK YOU to the Ekblad family for all your help with lunch and cooking tortillas. We enjoyed visiting with everyone and appreciate all your love and support on Mia's big day.

Gavin gave Mia a beautiful blessing

The proud parents (I was hoping for a family picture but my kids took off their church clothes right when we walked through the door and disappeared with all their cousins and friends)

What a beautiful day! Mia is absolutely gorgeous. Gavin gave her such a special blessing. The food and being with so many loved ones, made for a very wonderful day.
Thanks for all your hard work!

Wish we could had been there. She looked beautiful and what great smiles! By the way, your "kennedy bangs" look cute too!

Oh Heather - she is just beautiful! It is kind of hard to come to the end of an era isn't it? I still miss having a baby so much - but have figured out they grow up and are a lot MORE work than a baby :) But, there is just something special about babies, isn't there :)

Looks like your day was special :) You look great - loved the pics of Mia with mom and dad and the grands :)
