Beginning the journey of Down syndrome

I love following blogs of families touched by Down syndrome. And every once in a while I find a blog where I am amazed at the ability and gift the writer has with capturing in words and pictures the feelings, emotions and thoughts I had when Morgan was born. I stumbled across one of those blogs today. I wanted to share the link because I think it's worth checking out. Especially for all of us in this same journey. enjoying the small things. Be sure to scroll down to Nella's birth story!

  11. I loved this and so of course had to share on my blog as well :) She was so lucky to have such great support from friends, family and her doctor.

Thanks for the well wishes for our new baby! I am so nervous and calm at the same time. 4 seems like a lot of kids, it is great to see you do it so well with 6!

  17. Okay - I too am coming from the beautiful Nella blog! I have a 3 year old son with DS and so enjoy connecting with other moms that truly understand this special, unique journey. Your daughter is beautiful, as are all her brothers & sisters - you simply have an adorable family! Feel free to check out our blog as well (since I shamelessly tracked you down here!)

  18. I had a little girl 8 days ago diagnosed with Trisomy 21. She is already the light of our family! I was told about "enjoying the small things" a few days ago and I agree, the way she writes is amazing! I wish I had the ability to express how I feel in words like that! Anyhow... I look forward to keeping up with your blog and meeting more mom's like me :)
